TRAINERS.ORG PRIVACY AND COOKIES POLICY

DEFINITIONS
1.2. Trainers.org – Internet service available at www.trainers.org, by means of which ITFF provides Users with electronic services on the terms and conditions specified in the Regulations.
1.3 Comments – content entered into Trainers.org by Users via the comment field.
1.4 Account – the User’s individual access to Trainers.org, available after the User registers and enters a login and password in the space provided.
1.5 Administrator – ITFF Institute Foundation conducting business and statutory activity under NIP: 9820358225, KRS: 0000324772, Regon: 100639532 with registered office in Poland, ul. Narutowicza 40/1 90-135 Łódź.
1.6 Privacy and Cookies Policy – this document setting out the rules for the processing of personal data and the use of cookies, available at https://trainers.org/polityka-prywatnosci.
1.7 Rules and Regulations – Rules and Regulations of the Trainers.org website, available at https://trainers.org/regulamin.
1.8 Registration – the action of filling in the registration form available at Trainers.org, accepting the Terms and Conditions and agreeing to the processing of personal data, which allows the User to establish an Account and gain access to certain Trainers.org content not available to unregistered Users.
1.9 RODO – Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016. on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ.EU.L.2016.119.1)
1.10. Services – services provided to Users by ITFF through Trainers.org in accordance with the Regulations.
1.11. User – means a person using Trainers.org.
The following Privacy and Cookies Policy describes issues related to the processing of personal data and Users and the use of cookies in connection with the use of Trainers.org.
COOKIES
Cookies are small files sent by websites to your browser and stored on your device, such as a computer, cell phone, tablet. Among other things, they allow websites to store and retrieve information about the user’s browsing preferences or equipment, or to recognize the user and improve the services offered.
TYPES OF COOKIES
Cookies can be divided into different categories, according to the examples below.
Based on the duration of operation (activity in the browser), we can distinguish between session cookies and permanent cookies. Permanent cookies are used when browsing the site and are stored only during a given browsing session, that is, until the browsing session ends. Persistent cookies are stored for a certain period of time, even after the user finishes browsing the site.
Due to the entity disposing of them, a distinction can be made between proprietary or external (third-party) cookies. Custom cookies are created by the domain of the website visited by the user (indicated in the address bar of the browser) and can only be accessed by that domain. External (third-party) cookies are created and managed by domains other than the visited site. They are typically used to track users across various websites so that users can receive customized advertising.
In terms of objectives, a distinction can be made between technical, analytical and customization cookies. Technical cookies are considered necessary for the proper functioning of the site, and therefore the services offered within it. Analytics cookies are used to anonymously study and learn about user browsing behavior. Customization cookies allow a website to apply a general set of predefined characteristics (e.g. language, type of browser used) to each user.
COOKIES USED BY TRAINERS.ORG
- In addition to the necessary technical cookies that enable you to use many of Trainers.org’s basic features, Trainers.org also uses cookies for other purposes, such as:
- Improving the quality of services provided to Users;
- Understanding the behavior of site users and analyzing the information for statistical purposes.
- Improving security and preventing fraud.
- Increasing the speed of the site.
Cookies used by Trainers.org:
- Local storage
- A technical cookie used to store information about the language and localities from which users access the site (anonymously via a random identifier) in order to improve their user experience.
- Duration of use: Indefinite
- _utma
- Analytics Cookie that identifies individual visitors. It is used to record individual visitors for statistical and analytical purposes.
- Duration of use: 2 years.
- Source: Google Analytics.
- _utmb
- Analytical Cookie responsible for storing information about a particular visit.It is used to record individual visits for statistical and analytical purposes.
- Usage time: 30 minutes.
- _utmc
- Analytics Cookie responsible for determining whether to start tracking a new visit or whether the data collected should be counted as an old visit. To this end, it collaborates with _utmb.
- Duration of use: For the duration of the browser session (individually for each user).
- _utmz
- Analytics Cookie that identifies the source of individual visits. It is used to record individual sources of visits for statistical and analytical purposes.
- Duration of use: 6 months.
- _utmv
- Analytics Cookie that identifies individual visitors. It is used to record individual visitors for statistical and analytical purposes.
- Duration of use: 2 years.
Trainers.org also uses data from cookies to optimize content for the user, monitor traffic and analyze it.
The Trainers.org platform also uses data from Google Maps (owned by Google Inc.). If you provide a registered address as part of completing your profile information, Google also stores your IP address on a server in the US. We enable the use of Google Maps to make it easier to find the towns and cities users specify on the site.
Trainers.org also uses social networks as part of making users’ use of the site more attractive. Login using a Google or Facebook account is available, as well as providing links to users’ social profiles within the trainer’s profile on the site. Thus, the Trainers.org platform uses cookies from sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, LinkedIn and Google.
Trainers.org provides the ability to use social features, such as sharing content on social networks. The use of these features involves the use of cookies of social network administrators such as Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIN.
The site may contain links to other sites. For more information about cookies on third-party sites, please refer to their cookie policies.

The user can specify the conditions for storing cookies through browser settings.
PURPOSES OF DATA PROCESSING AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
- Data collected during Registration is processed for purposes:
- Provision of Services and maintenance and operation of the User’s Account at Trainers.org – the legal basis is:
– Art. 6 paragraph. 1(b) RODO in connection with the Law of July 18, 2002. On the provision of services by electronic means – to perform the contract and to take action before concluding the contract;
– With regard to data provided by the User on an optional basis – Art. 6 paragraph. 1 (a) RODO – the User’s consent; - Commercial and marketing – the legal basis is:
– In terms of sending newsletters – Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (b) – executing the contract and taking pre-contractual actions;
– In terms of presenting marketing content within the newsletter and Trainers.org – art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the legitimate interest of the Administrator and third parties in promoting their own brand and Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (a) RODO – consent. It also includes profiling, i.e. customization of the offer, e.g. selection of advertising content in newsletters as part of searches performed by the user on the site or selection of content within pop-ups displayed on the site. - Statistical and analytical – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in conducting analysis of Users’ activity on Trainers.org, in order to improve the functionalities used;
- Possible establishment, investigation and defense against claims – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in defending its rights.
- Provision of Services and maintenance and operation of the User’s Account at Trainers.org – the legal basis is:
- Data of Users (registered and unregistered) using Trainers.org is processed for purposes:
- Provision of Services – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1(b) RODO in connection with the Law of July 18, 2002. On the provision of services by electronic means – to perform the contract and to take action before concluding the contract;
- Commercial and marketing – the legal basis is:
– In terms of sending newsletters – Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (b) – executing the contract and taking pre-contractual actions;
– Regarding the presentation of marketing content within the newsletter and on Trainers.org – Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the legitimate interest of the Administrator and third parties in promoting their own brand and Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (a) RODO – consent. It also includes profiling i.e. customization of offers e.g. individualized offers, promotions, discounts. - Statistical and analytical – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in conducting analyses of Users’ activity on the Website in order to improve the functionalities used;
- Possible establishment, investigation and defense against claims – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in defending its rights.
- Users’ data provided in the contact form are processed for purposes:
- Identification of the sender and handling of his/her inquiry sent through the contact form – the basis for processing is:
– In terms of data necessary to make contact or handle an inquiry – Art. 6(1)(b) RODO – the necessity of processing for the performance of the contract;
– insofar as data that is not necessary to make contact or handle an inquiry – Art. 6 paragraph. 1 (a) RODO – the User’s consent. - Statistical and analytical – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in conducting analyses of Users’ activity on the Website in order to improve the functionalities used;
- Possible establishment, investigation and defense against claims – the legal basis is Art. 6 paragraph. 1 pt. (f) RODO – the Administrator’s legitimate interest in defending its rights.
- Identification of the sender and handling of his/her inquiry sent through the contact form – the basis for processing is:
DATA RECIPIENTS
In connection with the implementation of the Services, Users’ personal data will be disclosed to employees, associates and external entities to the extent necessary for the proper operation of Trainers.org and efficient service of the platform users, i.e. in particular:
- Technical service providers that can operate the technical infrastructure needed to provide the Trainers.org services, in particular the providers that host, store and maintain the Trainers.org website, its content and the personal data processed, and manage the infrastructure;
- Partners who support the Administrator in providing marketing services, including but not limited to. When sending promotional messages about products offered on Trainers.org, run contests, promotions;
- Suppliers providing accounting services, electronic payment services, providing systems for marketing, systems for analyzing traffic on Trainers.org, systems for analyzing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns;
- entities affiliated with the Administrator.
TRANSFER OF DATA TO THIRD COUNTRIES OR INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
The administrator will not transfer personal data to third countries or international organizations.
DATA RETENTION PERIOD
The period of data processing by the Administrator depends on the type of service provided and the purpose of the processing. As a general rule, data are processed for the duration of the Service, until the withdrawal of the consent given (in cases where processing is based on consent), or until an effective objection is made to the processing of data in cases where the legal basis for the processing is the legitimate interest of the Administrator.
The period of data processing may be extended if the processing is necessary for the establishment, investigation or defense against possible claims, and thereafter, only if and to the extent required by law. At the end of the processing period, the data is irreversibly deleted or anonymized.
USER RIGHTS
- You have the right to access, rectify, erase (“right to be forgotten”) or restrict processing of your personal data and the right to object to processing, the right to transfer data to another controller.
- If the processing is based on consent, the User has the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing performed on the basis of consent before its withdrawal.
- If the User believes that the processing of personal data violates the provisions of the RODO, the User has the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
- The provision of personal data by the User is always voluntary, but it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the Administrator for the provision of electronic services, and thus to use Trainers.org, obtain newsletters or carry out other functionalities related to the use of Trainers.org by the Administrator.
SECURITY OF PERSONAL DATA
The administrator shall make every effort to adequately secure the personal data provided and protect the privacy of users, in particular, against their access to unauthorized persons.
CHANGE IN PRIVACY AND COOKIES POLICY
We reserve the right to change the Privacy and Cookies Policy by posting the new Privacy and Cookies Policy on Trainers.org.
At the same time, we will inform you through the newsletter or information on trainers.org.
